Investment In Road Maintenance In Vysočina Region
The Regional Road Administration and Maintenance Authority of the Vysočina region will use the new information system for the planning of its activities

The planning of machine capacities and personnel utilization for road and high-way maintenance needs to be simpler and more accurate. This goal will be achieved with the help of a new information system supplied to the regional authority by the company INEKON SYSTEM. The support data generated by the new software will make personal management, transportation management and mechanization activity management more accurate. This should have a positive effect in future on the speed of snow removal and on a substantially more effective planning of road renovation work.

"Our Business Navigation Systems interconnect all analytic and planning processes and constantly evaluate changing conditions that influence the implementation of planned work. For instance, when winter is not as cold as it has been these weeks the system is able to provide quick information
about the economic impacts of lower consumption of road salt and lower utilization of road ploughs,"
says Ing. Jan Hušek, Ph.D., commercial director of INEKON SYSTEMS, s. r. o. and continues: "With the help of simulating the result of new decisions, the company can choose an alternative of the plan that is most suitable in given circumstances."

The Regional Road Administration and Maintenance Authority of the Vysočina region decided to introduce the management information system supplied by INEKON SYSTEMS thanks to a number of positive references and recommendations. "We were looking for software that is able to interconnect in one moment all information from the past
and the present, compare it with the plan and help us find the most straightforward, optimal and financially acceptable solution. If we are able to quickly evaluate the development of weather conditions and
decide on the sufficiency of our own road maintenance machinery without the need of external help then this will surely be very positive both for the quality of roads and for our own profitability,"
explains Ing. Jan Míka, director of The Regional Road Administration and Maintenance Authority of the Vysočina region.

Since 2002, INEKON SYSTEMS has introduce its Business Navigation Systems in more than sixty companies. The include the State Securities Printer,

Budvar in České Budějovice and the Regional Road Administration and Maintenance Authority of the Vysočina region as the first customer in the community sphere.
