KOLEJOVA DOPRAVA was created as an independent project and design studio in January 1995. Its rolein the INEKON GROUP is to prepare documentation for the production and sales of rail-borne vehicles.

In August 1997, KOLEJOVA DOPRAVA prepared design documentation for the production and commissioning of a prototype of a triple-articulated low-floor trams and its first ever homologation in the Czech Republic. Until now, we have also developed documentation for the production of high-capacity vehicles with a transportation capacity of 325 passengers.

The main asset of the company is the team of experienced collaborators with extensive theoretical and practical knowledge obtained in previous activities for other producers of mass transportation vehicles (companies like ČKD Tatra, ČKD Trakce, ČKD Lokomotivka and Škoda Plzeň). In these companies, they participated in the design and production of certain tram types (T4-D, B4-D, T6A5, KT4-D, KT8D5), locomotives (70E0 and 76E1) and trolleys (TR14 and TR21).

In the creation of technical and production documentation, we use 2D and 3D software sucha as AutoCad, Inventor and ProEngineering. Strength calculations are performed and checked by the Cosmos method of finite elements.
